OBS Mac 0.2.4 (work-in-progress build) Only supports OSX 10.8+. Don’t expect major support right now, this is an incomplete test build, most of our users and support people are windows users and aren’t very familiar with mac, so you’re on your own right now. There are still a bazillion things down the road. Step 2: Download and Enable LineIn. Download LineIn and copy the app to your Applications folder. Once copied, launch the app. Now that the app is running, simply select your preferred microphone and as the input and output it to the same Soundflower (2ch) that we've set up our Mac's audio to go to.

I have been trying to make my set up work and seeing if anyone here knows what to do.I want to stream on Twitch as I record sounds and manipulate them in ProTools, clean up bad audio, mix and record music.I'm using Mac OSX El Capitan, MBox Pro 2 interface, Pro Tools 12, OBS for streaming and Soundflower to capture desktop sound. The problem I'm having is that if I want to have all the audio working correctly from what I do in ProTools to OBS, I lose the inputs from the MBox and can't record.

If I do anything that allows me to record and hear what I'm doing, OBS can't pick up the sound anymore.I've gone through making an Aggregate Device with both Soundflower and the MBox but OBS won't recognise it to use for Desktop audio, it only sees either Soundflower or the MBox.Anyone who has done similar setups? Any fixes I've found online don't factor in wanting to use an interface to record sounds/music while using OBS and Soundflower. Thanks for any help!. You can try iShowU.
I've recently used that in a live stream or two. You make a new combined multi-output mix in the system Audio MIDI setup panel and route all of your desired audio output there.
Then you then select your newly created multi output device iShowU Audio Capture under the Mic/Auxiliary input in OBS (even though it's technically an output OBS only sees iShowU under that drop down menu). For example in my setup I run a mic through my Scarlett, and aggregate it with 'desktop' audio out from the 'headphones out' jack on my iMac configured in Audio Midi setup.
